Today vicemayor of Kiyv Marina Honda met with the head of the Lithuanian charity fund “Maistas Ukrainai” Nerijus Udrėnas.
From 2022 in April The foundation, in cooperation with NOVUS and the Kyiv City Red Cross, donated almost 11,000 product sets to the capital’s network of social service centers. They were received by families raising children with disabilities, families of our defenders, families with many children, internally displaced families, as well as families in difficult living conditions. Every month – about 50 sets in each of the districts of the capital.
And since June 2022, the rehabilitation center for children with disabilities in the city of Kyiv has received more than 21 thousand food packages. They were distributed to 14 thousand families raising children with disabilities.
These kits are not just a collection of products. It is a symbol of European solidarity, support and unity with the people of Ukraine.
We also discussed ideas about new cooperation projects in the social field with Nerijus Udrėnas. Thank you to our international partners for their continued support of our community.
