Assistance in Bucha
The Food for Ukraine charity continues to provide assistance in Bucha, a city that has become one of the symbols of the war, but also a place of strength and hope for recovery.
Today, Bucha is home to about 37,000 residents, of whom more than 8,000 are internal refugees. A large part of the population is seniors, single mothers, families who have lost loved ones or lost their income.
With the help of local volunteers who have been helping since the beginning of the war, we distribute food packages to those who need them most, according to lists drawn up with the city’s social welfare department. These are people who have to choose between the most necessary things every day.
This is not just food.
This is a sense of security.
This is a message that they are not alone.
We sincerely thank all donors, partners and volunteers. Especially IKI, Maxima, and Kauno Grūdai for their concrete and timely assistance. Also to the TZU CHI Foundation for their consistent financial support.
Thanks to you, aid reaches people on time and gives hope for tomorrow.
